ADS Ponzi Scheme

Money For Nothing - Clicks For Free!

Back in July I blogged about: Rod Cook’s MLM Watchdog, Rips Ad Surf Daily (ASD) aka Ad Cash Generator as a WEB SURF PONZI - PYRAMID.

Ad Surf Daily Ponzi Scheme

Well, the chickens have come home to roost for AdSurf Daily (ASD). The  Paid To Surf program has been sued by the Florida Attorney General , accusing the company and its owners of operating a “massive Wire-Fraud and Ponzi Scheme… masked as an advertising company”.

The Attorney General’s lawsuit is seeking civil damages for the victims and an injunction against the company, its president, Andy Bowdoin, and its employees to prohibit them from engaging in future deceptive marketing.

The lawsuit comes on the heels of a raid conducted by the U.S. Secret Service on the company’s headquarters. The federal authorities seized Boden’s home in Lake Talquin, condo in Myrtle Beach, as well as froze $53 million in bank accounts held by the company.

The company who operated the Ad Cash Generator program, is accused of deceptive marketing practices including:

  • That an ASD member would earn 150% commission for viewing ads.
  • That ASD members could make a request to ASD and within 48 hours obtain
daily cash outs of their credits and commissions.
  • That ASD members enjoyed stable commissions.
  • That Google agreed to enter into a relationship with ASD to show Google ads
    on the ASD website.

Bowdoin even claimed to have a special commendation from President Bush. It was reported that at his presentations Bowdoin would spend most of the time talking about how honest he was, with a parade of “So Called” experts backing up his claims, and very little time actually talking about advertising service.

According to the US Attorneys office: “ASD promised it’s advertisers between 125% -150% returns. But the company didn’t operate as a seller of Advertising Services, and there was no legitimate product being sold to support the profits ASD promised to pay it’s advertisers”.

This lawsuit is not connected with the ongoing criminal investigation which is currently being conducted by federal authorities.

I am always suspect of any programs that guarantee payment.
Some will make an initial payment just to satisfy their claim, while others make a killing from pyramid or ponzi schemes.
The only sure way of making money without effort is either stealing or welfare.
