Aweber Autoresponder Service

The Top Rated Aweber has raised the prices for their Autoresponder Service. The move actually will not effect most customers, and according to Tom Kulzer CEO & Founder, “The vast majority of our customer base would actually see their price fall from $19.95/mo to a flat $19/mo by upgrading.”

Autoresponders are an essential tool for Internet Marketers and Aweber has been primarily the King in this market. There are other services available, but for the money Aweber offers one of the best services available.

This new price increase is for what they call Aweber 2.0. The new features have advanced Analytics. This has the Internet Marketing community in an uproar and deserting for Get Response, a competing Autoresponder Service. But I think this may be a “Knee Jerk” reaction. On closer inspection this new pricing may actually be a very good thing.

According to Kulzer:

“Here’s a stat that most of the gurus won’t tell you. 99.88% of businesses do not havelists greater than 100,000 subscribers” and “Less than 50 of AWeber’s ~42,000 customers have lists greater than 100,000 subscribers. (Now That’s Interesting!)

So the Majority of Aweber customers, who have less than 500 subscribers, would actually pay less.

“We lowered their prices. It’s $0.95 cheaper than it was yesterday for customers with less than 500 subscribers and as you read everyone gets a heck of a lot more power in their email system.”

For most users to take advantage of the new Aweber upgraded features would only cost them an extra $10 per month, which is not bad for what you get. Kulzer states: “These new features bring enterprise class features to small businesses at extremely affordable rates”.
