This is a series of articles about Blogging For Business. There are many reasons why your business should have it’s own Blog. There are right and wrong ways to get the most from your Blog. In this article series I’ll show you the Right way to get the most from your Business Blog!
In this series we will take a look at the some of the the best Blogging techniques and how you can use them for your business.
The concept for the article series occurred to me when talking to a friend the other day, I mentioned that it would be a great idea to put his business up on V-Local.
Then he mentioned that he doesn’t even have a web site. No problem, V-Local can be his business web site. Then I started thinking, wow, here is a successful business man, that has operated a financial service business for the last 10 years, who doesn’t have his own web site.
Of course a site on V-Local would be a great way to promote the business, get listed in the search engines, and directories, and get his business good Internet Exposure.
But to really do it right, he should have his own Blog. My friend is a great promoter, he is always promoting on the phone, and has an ongoing communication with his customers by email. So a Blog would be a natural for him.
A Blog is a great way to share ongoing, fresh content with his customers, to improve your search engine rankings, and ultimately attract new customers and business contacts.
Then my friend mentioned he was a little apprehensive, and a little intimidates by the technology, and had an aversion to doing it. This I can understand,I’m sure a lot of people feel the same way.
And I’m sure my friend is not alone, there are probably 1,000’s - 100,000’s of businesses out there that do not have a blog. They may not have a web site at all, orhave a static web site, but no way to interact on a regular basis with their customers and business associates on a regular basis.
You own Blog can be the central home for your company’s thoughts, tips, advice and special updates. By having your own Business Blog, you can develop your own audience, as well as engage with your customers.
The key is to do it right, and there are right and wrong ways to Blog. With millions of established Blogs, there has been plenty of experience out there, of what works and what to stay away from. So no need to reinvent the wheel, in this article series I will give you some of the best, proven Blogging techniques and strategies you can use in your own Business Blog!

Any business that wants to market its products online or make new contacts should have a blog. People like to post comments and exchange their views. So, any one who wants to start a business, should seriously consider the potential of a blog.
