Google Nexus One Phone
Posted by Steve Renner as Internet Marketing, Mobile Marketing, Nexus One, droid, iPhone
Look out iPhone, there’s a new phone in town the Google Nexus One! Powered by Andriod, and rumored to be released in January this new phone looks to be a real contender in the Smart Phone market.
Google Nexus One
The new Nexus One phone is an unbranded HTC-made carrier-unlocked handset running the Android 2.0 and appears to be slimmer than the HTC myTouch.
Tests have reported a lack of Multi-Touch capability, while the Google Apps tested don’t respond to multitouch, the OS and hardware are presumably Multi-Touch capable.
The Nexus One which currently only runs on the T-Mobil G3 appears to be Faster and Snappier than the Verizon Droid. The phone will only operate on GSM networks, which are widespread outside the US but only T-Mobile and AT&T domestically.

Should be interesting. But do we really think a phone can possibly dethrone the iPhone anytime soon? I HIGHLY doubt it.

I thought it was supposed to look like an iPhone on beautifying steroids? The only thing that is likely to dethrone the iPhone 3GS any time in the near future is the iPhone 4GS - especially if rumours of the OLED screen are true.

Will this have a peer to peer messenger like Blackberry. When I was getting a new phone I was originally looking at the iPhone, but ended up going with a Blackberry for its peer to peer messenger.

In my opinion, I would proceed for the Nexus over the droid solely because of the hardware specs, but if you like a physical keyboard then apparently you can’t compare.

Do you know if it will have “push technology”, I have a personal development, self improvement and creativity training business, and to be honest, blackberry seems to be untouchable as far as I am concerned. For anyone doing business at least, the software seems far better to me. I think blackberry is the standard by which all others should be measured, not the iphone.

I see many plus points for this phone and it certainly appears to be a cheaper better competitor to the iPhone

Although iPhone has a huge head start on them, NEVER count Google out. I sure wouldn’t be against them.
