Google is now giving Search Volume Numbers in their Keyword Tool. It could be bad for services like Wordtracker but good for Internet Marketers!
Google Keyword Tool Results For Internet Marketing
Previously Google represented search volume for a Keyword by a rating 1-5. Now there’s more relying on the old”Green Bars” to guess at Search Volume. With this new Data Google has moved into the #1 Spot for Keyword Research.
I still like Aaron Wall’s, SEO Book’s Keyword Tool, which is based off of Wordtracker and it shows the Daily Search numbers from Google, Yahoo, and MSN.
Although the Wordtracker keyword volumes have always been known for being inaccurate showing only 2-3% of actual search activity, it gives you a good comparative relation in Search Terms.
So now that Google showing the Actual Search Volume, this could be the only Keyword Tool you will ever need! (And the Price Is Right - FREE!)
This is Great News for Internet Marketers, Search Engine Marketers, Adwords Users, Online Advertisers, and anyone who Markets Online.
