This is great information Steve. Many of the online marketing techniques you mention, I have implemented into my marketing plan.
I am fairly new to network marketing. I still have a lot to learn. I don\’t have a website of my own and really don\’t have the time. I still have a full-time job. Although I am a programmer, my skills in website design are strictly related to business applications written in java or .net.
I do have an affiliate website, but often one thing I have used to circumvent my affiliate website is I created a splash or squeeze page for my business. A squeeze page is usually a one page site that talks about your business and has a place where your visitors can enter their information. Once their information is entered, you can then use your autoresponder to send them more information about your business and you. It works well.
Creating a one page site is much easier then having to create a whole website. The other thing is implementing your autoresponder, but this too is not complicated. MOst often, setting up an autoresponder is first you must find an autoresponder provider. There are many out there, just do your research and find one that suits you. Then copy and paste the code into your html code of your squeeze page. There may be some tweeking here and there but in time, you will have a complete squeeze page.
One last step is to get a domain name for your squeeze page and a place to host your site. There are many hosting services for real cheap out there. Again, do your research and find one that suits you and your pocket book or wallet. Complete all these steps and you are good to go. Just market you splash or squeeze page and you can bring people into your business. You can still use your affiliate site to market your business, but in time, you do want to have your own site as a means to separate you from the other members in the business.
