I got the inspiration to write this today for you, as many of you know, I have been marketing online for the last 10 years, and have been fortunate to have made a good living at it. The Internet has been good to me, and now it’s time I give something back. I hope you enjoy this article series.
There are many different ways to Make Money Online, and I will cover several of them in this series of articles. I have a different style of marketing, and some of my methods may be considered a little Unusual or Unorthodox, but that’s OK because they work. I definitely like to think “Outside The Box”.
Although the are dozens of opportunities out there for making money, basically when you break it down all Internet Marketing falls into 2 basic Categories.
- You are Selling a Product or Service
- You are Referring A Product Or Service
You are paid based on your ability to cause an action of some kind to take place. Either way you are ultimately selling something, how you fit into the transaction can change. It could be as simple as a prospect entering their zip code, or a more complicated credit card purchase.

There are dozens of ways to Make Money Online, and this can be a problem for new marketers just getting started. With all the opportunities out there it can be confusing. With so many business models to chose from, it can be hard to know where to start.
The old salesman’s expression “A Confused Mind Never Buys” is true. Give a Customer too many choices and they are likely not to buy anything. It’s the same for the Sales Person, give them to many choices and they are likely not to sell anything.
To Make Your First $1,000 Online the best thing you can do is to “Pick One” Money Making opportunity and stick with it until you are successful. Once you have Mastered this one business model you can always expand to include another into your overall Marketing Plan.
While some of the marketing techniques are changing with the times and technology, fundamental Tried and Proven Internet Marketing Strategy is still the best way to Make Money Online.
Setting up a Squeeze Page, using Traffic Generation Strategies, building an Opt-In List, writing compelling Sales Copy are the essential skills of the Internet Marketer.

- Stick With It ( Stay the course and over time you will be Successful )
This last point is a major Secret To Success Online, the longer you stay in business the Stronger you get. Over time you build an Awareness for your Brand, this is called Branding or Name Recognition.
Over the course of time you will find that your competitors will come and go. As you maintain a solid position of Strength in your chosen Niche, people will begin to Know, Like, Trust and Respect you aas an Authority in your Niche, and you will be Rewarded with Steady Sales and Profits.
