Local Business Directory Bails Out
Posted by Steve Renner as Internet Marketing, Online Advertising, V-Local
A while back we reported on a Local Business Directory promoted by some Corporate Traders masquerading as Internet Guys. In my report Local AdLink In Trouble I outlined the problems they were having.
Well it didn’t take long for them to completely fold their tents and run, leaving their sales reps holding the proverbial bag. With out a word from their illustrious leader McNulty, the company has been sold out to a Nutritional Company - Zurvita.
Without fanfare, the new company, Zurvita announced they were taking over on October 15,th. Former owner and CEO McNulty and his crew have a history of successfully developing web properties and selling them for big bucks. This appears to have been their concept all along.
The new owners Mark Jarvis of Zurvita plan to take the Localadlink reps on a mission “That honors and glorifies God”. Business owners who advertise there may also receive an added benefit from the Religious aspects.
Jarvis promises that “During the time that we transition from the old systems to the new technology platform, sales reps compensation will remain the same, with one major exception…” You will actually get paid, and your checks will Not Bounce! This is good news for all the sales reps that have been basically been shafted by McNulty and company.
Another exciting day in the Internet Marketing - Online Advertising world!

Another controversial issue in this case. I’m glad everything went well after what happened.
