Indented Search Listings can give you “Double Exposure” for the keyword term you are ranking for and of course double the chances of your customers finding you. This is a cool Internet Marketing trick, and it’s not difficult to achieve.
This is an example of listings for the term Outsource Secrets Revealed, my friend Jeff Mills Outsourcing Course. You can see he gets multiple Indented Listings for this Keyword Phrase.
In the world of Search Engine Marketing and Search Engine Optimization, the name of the game is to get site ranked in the search engines for specific Keywords and Keyword Phrases (Keyphrase). Here is a sure fire way to get Indented Search Results.
- First: Identify the 2nd Highest Ranking Page for your Keyphrase. You can do a Google search for the keyword phrase you are looking to get an indented result for. If you don’t one or you don’t like the current one, you can always create a new one.
- Second: Create a Link from the 1st Ranking Page to the 2nd Ranking Page using your Keyphrase as the anchor text. You will want to use a link within a body of text instead of a navigational link.
- Third: Build Incoming Links to the 2nd Page. The number of good quality Backlinks will depending on the competition for this keyword in order to get the indented result.
I was talking to Andy Jenkins (Stomper Net) at Frank Kern’s Mass Control seminar last weekend and he mentioned that he released a very cool video explaining this technique. I’ll see if I can hunt it down and use it in a future lesson.
