The New Adobe Photoshop Express Beta his the scene this week. It’s a very cool web bsd application, and it’s FREE! Not just for the Internet Marketing crowd, the new Photoshop Express (PX) is for anyone who uses photos online, from Students to Families, to the Facebook - MySpace set.
I test drove the new OPX and found it fairly user friendly. It hs some cool bells and whistles on it. You can upload your own pictures, and perform regular Photoshop functions on them, Crop, Resize, Tint, and Red Eye removal. And they have someting called Amplify which allows you to give your photos cartoon colors, distort them, and go nuts. Turn average photos into jaw droppers with options like Pop Color, Sketch, Hue, Black & White, Tint, and more.
Get Your Own Account
You set up your own account, mine is: steverenner.photoshop.com (Way Cool). The call it a Gallery. You get 2 Gigs of storage for your photos, and it integrates directly with Facebook, Photobucket and Picasa.
You set up your photos in Albums, and you can share your photos in Galleries. You can browse the galleries of other members, currently 18,000 or so.
Earlier this year, Adobe introduced Premiere Express, a free, Flash-based online video editor for creating mash-ups and remixes. Anyone using Photobucket, MTV.com and YouTube’s TestTube site can take Premiere Express for a spin. Photoshop Express though offer a simple, easy way to do your image editing.
From what I can tell so far this is Very Cool service, and I highlyto recommend it to all my readers, Members, and Students. You get the benefits of Photoshop without the $600 price tag.
