OK, I decided it’s time to write about some real Internet Marketing stuff. Sometimes I get so caught up in my own stuff, I don’t have time to get out and see what’s going on in the rest of the Internet Marketing world.
I like Andy Beard, he always has interesting stuff on his blog. Anyway, I was cruising Andy’s Blog today and I saw his report on the new Technorati Media. Wow this is cool! So I went over to check it out further.
Here’s how they explain it: “Technorati was founded to help bloggers to succeed by collecting, highlighting, and distributing the online global conversation. As the leading blog search engine and most comprehensive source of information on the blogosphere, we index more than 1.5 million new blog posts in real time and introduce millions of readers to blog and social media content.”
“Technorati Media extends our service and value by matching bloggers and social media creators with marketers who want to join the conversation.”
Wow what a cool concept, like Adsense for Bloggers. They have Advertisers and Publishers. (Sounds familiar right?) As an Advertiser, you can create ads and Technorati will run them out on their Network. You can become a Publisher and presumably place Technorati ads on your site and earn income.
Some of the sites in the Technorati Media Network include:
- BlogCatalog, the fastest-growing social network for bloggers and their audiences
- Blogcritics, an interactive blogger community and a full service news and reviews source
- BlogTalkRadio, the leading social broadcasting network
- BlogTV, the leading platform for user generated live broadcasts
- GeekAlerts
- GPSMagazine
