John Reese’s Videos for his new product Traffic Secrets 2.0 are actually quite good. He gives away a great deal of great information in these Free Videos.
The first Video is about what he calls Results Detection. It’s how to “Reverse Engineer” where the traffic is coming from on high ranking sites in Google based on relevant Keywords.
Reese gives you 10 examples of what he uses in his “Results Detection” strategy to generate millions of unique views to his online projects.
- Google - reverse engineering top ranking sites to find out how they got their high position.
- Download.com - find out what software is being downloaded the most, watch rankings and read customer reviews to determine market demands.
- Digg - search digg.com’s history to find out what people are most interested in and what was most successful in getting the most votes (diggs).
- Social Networking - (Facebook, MySpace, hi5, ning, etc.) Find people with thousands of friends and research to discover how they were able to establish so many online friends.
- Google Adwords - research the most expensive keywords (some words demand $50.00 per click) and discover what these companies are doing on the other end to covert the sale once the customer clicks their ad as well as what they are doing to get the customer to click their ad in the first place.
- eBay - research recent sales histories to learn which products are selling the most.
- PRWeb.com - research which press releases are generating the most buzz and links to determine a profitable niche market.
- Technorati - watch the blogs to discover which ones are generating the most links.
- Compete.com - reverse engineer traffic from top performing sites to determine how they are getting that traffic.
- Commission Junction - CJ offers great data on what ads are performing the best. Use that data to more effectively model your online advertising.
